A PLACE in the Sun star Lee Juggernauth was left gobsmacked by a guest’s “cutthroat” offer on Wednesday’s episode.
The Channel 4 host helped guests Peter and Julie find their dream holiday home in Dordogne.
Lee Juggernauth was stunned by a guests shockingly low offer
The couple put in an offer which was £35,000 under the asking price
The couple wanted to find somewhere to retire to with their two dogs, with place for friends to stay.
They had a budget £200,000 that looked traditionally French on the outside and modern on the inside.
The first three properties were not up to the standards the couple wanted, but Lee hoped the fourth was more to their liking.
It had a massive garden and pool and Lee felt it could be a “dream home” for the couple.

However, the inside required a lot of work, and appalled, Julie declared: “It’s definitely not for me. It’s lovely from the outside but I can’t live here.”
Lee was horrified and tried to pull out all the stops with the fifth property.
On the market for £185,000 it was a converted school building with a recently refurbished kitchen, two bedrooms, a spacious living area, and two bedrooms.
It also had a separate building for guests and the couple put an offer in on £150,000.
Lee was left in disbelief when the couple put in an offer which was £35,000 under the asking price.
The host remarked: “That is significantly lower than the asking price, what are your reasons for that?”
Julie said: “We need to put in a shower room downstairs, convert the annexe garage doors into proper windows and doors and we would like to put a swimming pool in.”
However, this was rejected so they put another offer in for £165,000.
Viewers were stunned by the cheeky offer, with one writing: “That offer is offensive #aplaceinthesun.”
Another said: “150k? You cheeky pair… It’s not up to them to pay for your pool or your shower.”
The episode ended with Lee telling viewers the couple were waiting to hear back from the seller.
A Place In The Celeb Report continues weekdays on Channel 4 at 4pm.
