What Makes Puzzling Unique
Puzzling challenges contestants' problem-solving skills as they compete to be crowned Britain's ultimate puzzler.
In each episode, six smart individuals are split into two teams of three. These teams rack up points by applying their deductive skills in five different rounds:
- In Other Words (language)
- Pressure Points (calculation)
- Rule Breakers (lateral thinking)
- Picture This (visual intelligence)
- Memory Bank (memory)
With each round targeting a different area of the player's mind, Puzzling guarantees a unique mental challenge.
Lucy Worsley's Exciting New Role
Puzzling marks a departure from Lucy Worsley's usual historical pursuits, as she takes on the role of the puzzle-mistress.
In a previous statement, Lucy expressed her excitement about the show, stating, "I’ve spent most of my career finding answers to historical questions, so getting to ask the questions is going to be an exciting new adventure for me. I can't wait to get puzzling!"
