LOVE Island fans all had the same question last night as the girls swooned over bombshell Adam Collard.
Viewers were shocked seeing the female islanders flocking to chat to Adam, 26, given his past on the ITV2 dating show.
The Love Island girls screamed when they saw Adam Collard entering the villa
Paige Thorne, Tasha Ghouri and Gemma Owen were pulled for chats with Adam
One person ranted on Twitter: “I cant stress this enough. These girls have watched Adams season. WHAT ARE THEY DOING. You cant fix him!!”
Another said: “So all of the #LoveIsland girls knew who Adam was so clearly must know his history yet there they are fawning all over him…..”
And a third wrote: “Bit shocked all these girls clearly know who Adam is and what he’s done, and yet they are all dying for him? The standards this season…”
It comes as The Celeb Report told how a domestic abuse charity has issued a warning to Love Island bosses over his return.
Women’s Aid said it was alarmed that the Geordie was back in the villa despite the distress he caused in 2018.
It pointed out he was accused of gaslighting and emotionally abusing female contestants in his first stint on the show.
The charity’s head of communications Teresa Parker told ITV bosses to be on their guard.
She added: “Love Island is watched by many young people and we know what a huge influence it has.
“Producers must make sure there is support for contestants throughout, and intervene if relationships become unhealthy or abusive.”
Last night he made his entrance while the remaining boys were out of the villa.
He was later seen cosying up by the pool with Paige Thorne discussing “boyfriend material” and the need to “train boys up” to be in a relationship.
He also flirted up a storm with Ekin-Su, Danica Taylor, Gemma Owen and Tasha Ghouri.
In 2018, fitness instructor Adam coupled up with four different girls. Each time he moved on, he was accused of gaslighting them into thinking it was their fault.
He ditched law student Rosie Williams – who today slammed Adam in an interview with The Celeb Report – a day after she performed a sex act on him.
When she called him out for dumping her for Zara McDermott he responded: “It’s not my fault if I fancy her.”
At the time, Women’s Aid issued a statement saying his behaviour was “part of a pattern of gaslighting and emotional abuse”.
Adam dated Zara, now a BBC Three presenter, for eight months after they both left the villa. He was last night seen homing in on Gemma Owen.
However, former contestants have voiced their concern. Georgia Townend, 29, called him “an absolute menace to women”.
Even Zara, 25, posted online: “You’re joking me.”
