Airport’s Jeremy Spake looks totally different without hair or glasses as he makes TV return 25yrs after iconic show

AIRPORT star Jeremy Spake sparked a whole generation of aviation fans thanks to his 90s docu-soap Airport.

The fluent Russian speaker was an instant hit with fans when cameras followed him him dealing with the chaos at London’s Heathrow.

The star returned to TV last month in The Airport: Back In The Skies

With neatly-cropped hair and a goatee beard, he was the undisputed star of the series.

Jeremy was then ground services manager for Russian airline Aeroflot and later became deputy director at Isle of Man Airport.

Last month he returned to the BBC 17 years after the original hit aired with The Airport: Back in the Skies.

The series shows viewers how Heathrow and the operations linked to to have coped with the devastation wrought by Covid.

He looks very different these days, which a shaved head and the goatee beard nowhere to be seen.

However, he remains impeccably smart, wearing a shirt and tie in the show – which is also set at Heathrow.

Jeremy has fronted several shows after appearing on Airport, presenting on The Toughest Job in Britain, Holiday, and City Hospital.
