Alan Carr’s Epic Gameshow slammed by ‘bored’ fans who make the same complaint as ITV show returns

ALAN Carr’s Epic Gameshow has been slammed by ‘bored’ fans who made the same complaint.

The ITV show returned tonight with a celebrity special and saw Alan welcome Sir Mo Farah, Russell Kane and Clare Balding.

Alan Carr’s Epic Gameshow failed to impress some viewers

Others felt the show was ‘rigged’

Each show features a different classic gameshow, with Play Your Cards Right, Bullseye, The Price is Right and Strike It Lucky in the mix.

Tonight saw the celebrities and their partners tackle Play Your Cards Right, which was originally hosted by the late Bruce Forsyth from 1980 to 2003.

But while some were pleased to see Alan, 46, back as host, others were not so impressed.

One wrote on Twitter: “I lasted six and half minutes with the desperate reboot of a classic. #EpicGameshow #BadGameBadGame #BrucieBonus.”

Others felt the new version was ‘rigged’ compared to the original.

One viewer tweeted: “Anyone else can’t help but feel #EpicGameshow was rigged? How many doubles came out!

“Can’t remember that many coming out in an entire series of Bruce’s version let alone in one single show like tonight!”

Another added: “#epicgameshow that end game looked a bit rigged.”

A fellow viewer shared: “Agreed, each card was from one extreme to another! What a load of fixed b******s……. Having the three lives made the whole game too easy!”

In the end, Sir Mo and his wife Tania made it through to the final round.

Mo decided to gamble his £7,000 in the hope of securing £20,000 for this chosen charity.

The Olympian made the right decision, and took the jackpot plus winnings from earlier in the show making his total £23,500.
