THE new Alaskan Bush People trailer has featured the Brown family burying dad Billy as Bird sobbed in the first season after his tragic death.
The heartbreaking scenes showed the family trying to rebuild their lives after the tragic passing of Billy, the patriarch of the Alaskan Bush People family.
As the trailer begun showing the family making a call to the emergency services when Bill fell ill, a family member narrated: “Dad always told us, one day we would have to carry on without him. But we weren’t ready for him to go.”
They added: “We will never give up on our fight for total freedom. But can we do it without dad?”
As the family gathered around his coffin for the burial, an emotional Bird was inconsolable in the trailer.
She sobbed: “He really was my best friend. He was there for me like nobody else was.”
Billy’s wife Ami, 58, said: “We have to find our peace somehow.”
Bird added: “There’s still a piece of me that feels really lost.”
The trailer also showed last scenes of Billy when he was alive.
The adventurer was seen having a blast as he created a zipline for his family, and encouraged them to hunt for silver and gold.
Billy died at 68 years old after a seizure as his family mourns his sudden passing last February.
His son, Bear Brown, confirmed the devastating news, along with the cause of death, on Instagram.
The caption read: “We are heartbroken to announce that our beloved patriarch Billy Brown passed away last night after suffering from a seizure.
“He was our best friend – a wonderful and loving dad, granddad and husband and he will be dearly missed. He lived his life on his terms, off the grid and off the land and taught us to live like that as well.
“We plan to honor his legacy going forward, and to continue with his dream.”
The family also asked for “privacy and prayers” during the difficult time.
He decided to defy doctor’s orders and continue to live in the mountains with his family.
The dad of seven shared five sons – Matt, 36, Bam Bam, 34, Bear, 31, Gabe, 29, and Noah, 26 – and two daughters – Bird, 24, and Rain, 16 – with his wife Ami.
Billy had been in and out of hospital in recent years and was previously told by medical professionals that the high altitude wasn’t good for him.
After returning home from one particular hospital visit, Billy told his large family that he’d been having heart problems.
In heartbreaking scenes on the reality show, Billy’s wife Ami told their adult kids that their father wasn’t going to get better.
The Browns left Alaska due to the sudden cancer diagnosis of matriarch Ami and relocated closer to California so she could be treated at UCLA Medical Center.
