The show sees amateur British food suppliers go up against each other to win the prize of supplying all Aldi supermarkets with their creation.

Chip Shop Chicken Curry Pie – Chichester, West Sussex

Pie maker Christian makes a range of unique homemade pies using local ingredients.

It’s a family affair, and even his 10-year-old daughter helps sell his delicious baked goods.

Christian has a stall at his local Farmer’s Markets, and his in-laws also help him do all the packing of the pies.

Chinese Cooking Sauces – Lewisham

Danni is hoping her Chinese sauces with no preservatives and 100% natural ingredients will make it onto the shelves of Aldi.

Inspired by her Mum’s cooking, Danni said she she always hated supermarket products that are filled with additives.

So, she decided to make her own authentic and better quality version.

Yumbug Cricket Recipe Kit – Islington, London

Leo and Aaron’s product is very different to the others.

The duo have created Insect YouTube videos that were so popular, they felt  inspired to create meal kits.

Their product is sourced from a Cambridgeshire Insect farm, and cooked up at their North London studio.

Jess Cooks: Kid’s Ready Meals – Stowmarket, Suffolk

Jess is on a mission to ban beige from kid’s diets.

Her range of frozen ready meals are a healthy, quick fix for busy parents, which is something she knows all about.

She lives with her family in rural Suffolk.

Mandira’s Kitchen Frozen Curry – Surrey Hills

Mandira is hoping her authentic home-style Indian meals with hit the shelves of Aldi.

She already has celebrity fans like Nigella Lawson and Jamie Oliver.

Her meals are cooked and prepared in her 400-year-old converted cowshed in the Surrey countryside.

Epronto Italian Ragu – Glasgow

The Cingani family work together in their bustling Glasgow kitchen.

Utilising their Nonna’s traditional recipes they have come up with a special ragu sauce.

Ragu is a meat sauce that is commonly served with pasta.
