Alison Hammond's Big Weekend

This Morning star Alison Hammond has been poached by the BBC for a huge new entertainment show that sees her host solo. The TV star, who co-presents the ITV daytime show alongside Dermot O'Leary, will be joined by some of the biggest names in showbiz for the six-part series.

An Intimate Look Behind the Scenes

Alison Hammond's Big Weekend sees Alison, 49, head to the homes of celebrities to spend two days getting to know them. It'll mean the TV star can find out the ins and outs of the show's stars, giving viewers an intimate glimpse into their lives at home. Coming to BBC One and iPlayer in 2025, and filmed across the UK, it promises to serve up laughs, revelations, and celebrity realness.

Excitement and Anticipation

The Great British Bake Off host said: "I'm so excited to serve up some big lols and tons of OMG revelations on the BBC as I spend some quality time with some of the UK's favourite celebrities. When I'm on a mission no secret is safe, and trust me no stone or cupboard will go unturned!"

What to Expect Next

Details of when the show will air are yet to be confirmed, with celebrity guests due to be announced at a later date. It comes after a date was set for Alison to appear on the new series of Paul O'Grady show For The Love Of Dogs this month.

Alison's Response to Criticism

Alison's appointment angered some fans of the show after they learned she had never owned a dog herself. She appeared to address the backlash on This Morning, saying: "It's a massive responsibility. And that's what I want to do the show because I want to find out about dogs, and I've always wanted a dog."

A Sweet Message from Julian Clary

Alison revealed there are no hard feelings between her and Julian Clary as she shared a sweet message from him on This Morning. She said Julian had told her: "Paul actually thought a lot of you. He would be so happy you got the job, as am I."
