ALISON Hammond kept This Morning viewers waiting two hours to reveal a “disappointing” announcement – and they’re furious.
After dropping clues throughout the ITV daytime show about her secret location, the presenter finally told fans she was on the set of Coronation Street.

“I’m on the famous cobbles, the iconic street, to make a massive announcement. I’m star struck,” said Alison.
She then revealed This Morning will air live from the set of ITV soap Coronation Street ahead of the King’s Coronation.
Alison said: “This is the moment. I’ve got an invitation for you at home.
“You are cordially invited to attend This Morning’s Coronation Street party live from Coronation Street.
“How amazing is that. We’re going to be gate-crashing Coronation Street.
“And when I say gate-crashing I mean presenters and crew and the sofa’s coming…”
On May 5, Alison and her Friday co-star Dermot O’Leary will invade Coronation Street to host a special This Morning edition.
But viewers weren’t impressed they’d waited until 12pm to find out the announcement.
“What a f***ing waste of time…absolutely pointless,” said one.
Another said: “OMG is that all? I was expecting a storyline announcement.”
Someone else asked: “They’re having a street party is that it?”
“That’s a total nothing – what a massive waste of time,” said another.
