All Star Musicals at Christmas line-up: Full celebrity cast for the 2021 special

ALL Star Musicals at Christmas is back with six new celebrities all hoping to steal the show with their magical performance and be crowned the All Star Musical Champion 2021.

The cast will perform a range of iconic musicals, including; Cats, Moana and The Rocky Horror Show – here’s who you can expect to see on your screens this Boxing Day.

Which celebrities will be appearing in the All Star Musicals at Christmas 2021?

Fern Britton



Fern Britton will be appearing in the All Stars Musical at Christmas 2021.

Fern Britton is a 64-year-old English author and television presenter.

Since 2010, she has published a number of bestselling novels and books of short stories and nonfiction.

She co-presented Breakfast Time in the 1980s along with hosting the cooking game show Ready Steady Cook.

In 2012, she competed in Strictly Come Dancing, where she was paired with professional dancer Artem Chigvintsev.

Talking about the musical, Fern said: “A chance to dress up and dance with a full orchestra! What a Christmas present!”

Ben Miller



Ben Miller will be appearing in the All Stars Musical at Christmas 2021.

Bennet Evan Miller is a 55-year-old English actor.

Miller wrote and starred in the Channel 4 sketch show Armstrong and Miller, as well as the BBC sketch show The Armstrong & Miller Show. 

He is best known for his lead role as DI Richard Poole in the first in the first two series of the BBC crime drama Death in Paradise.

Speaking about the musical, Ben explained how he now has a “new respect” for them as after weeks of training he still classifies himself as “nowhere near ready”.

Gyles Brandreth 



Gyles Brandreth will be appearing in the All Stars Musical at Christmas 2021.

Gyles Daubeney Brandreth is a 73-year-old British actor, broadcaster, writer and former politician. 

Educated at the University of Oxford, Gyles worked as a television presenter, theatre producer, journalist, author and publisher.

He was a presenter for Good Morning Britain in the 1980s, and has been regularly featured on Channel 4’s game show Countdown and the BBC’s The One Show. 

When interviewed about the musical, he said: “I can’t sing and I can’t dance, but I can dream!  And this is a dream come true – being in a number in my favourite musical, My Fair Lady.”

Anita Rani



Anita Rani will be appearing in the All Stars Musical at Christmas 2021.

Anita Rani Nazran is a 44-year-old British radio and television presenter.

This year, Rani has presented the Friday and Saturday editions of BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour, was a guest on BBC Radio 4 interview show Gossip And Goddesses With Granny Kumar, and announced that she had been made a United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Goodwill Ambassador.

In July 2021, Rani published her memoir The Right Sort of Girl, which hit the Sunday Times Bestseller List.

In Anita’s interview about the musical, she said: “What better time to come together to perform some show stopping musical hits on stage. It’s a festive treat that’s guaranteed to bring some sparkle to everyone’s living rooms this Christmas”

Catherine Tyldesley 



Catherine Tyldesley will be appearing in the All Stars Musical at Christmas 2021.

Catherine Tyldesley is a 38-year-old English actress, comedian and model.

She is best known for her roles as Iris Moss in the BBC drama Lilies, Eva Price on the ITV soap opera Coronation Street from 2011 to 2018 and Karen Norris in BBC One sitcom Scarborough in 2019.

Speaking about the musical, Tyldesley said: “I’m a huge musical theatre fan- so the chance to sing a song from the first musical I fell in love with is a dream come true. Really excited about the tuition too – a great chance to learn from the best“

Radzi Chinyanganya



Radzi Chinyanganya will be appearing in the All Stars Musical at Christmas 2021.

Radzi Chinyanganya is a 34-year-old British presenter and broadcaster. 

He co-presented the BBC children’s TV programme Blue Peter from 2013 until 2019.

In October 2018, Chinyanganya announced that he would be working for American professional wrestling company WWE for its NXT UK brand, as a backstage interviewer.

Radzi is extremely happy to be part of the musical, as he explains:  “I cannot believe that I’ll be performing in front of the nation doing something that honestly terrifies and excites me in equal measure. I’m starting as a day one, hour one beginner, so I’m really going to be testing the skills of the fantastic musical coaches. I can’t really sing, I don’t normally dance, so what could possibly go wrong?!”

When is the All Stars Musical on TV?

All Star Musicals will air on ITV and the ITV Hub on Boxing Day from 8pm.
