A passionate dance
Amanda Holden has opened up about a "weird moment" she had with former Strictly professional dancer Pasha Kovalev while filming her documentary series Sex: A Bonkers History. The pair performed the scandalous Tudor dance, The Volta, which allowed unmarried individuals to touch on the dance floor.
An unexpected connection
Holden shared how she felt a strong connection with Kovalev after the dance, considering how scandalous such physical contact would have been in the 16th century. She described the experience as intimate and confessed to feeling hot under the collar.
Patient partner
Holden also praised Kovalev's patience as she struggled to learn the steps, highlighting how it took her a long time to master the routine. She expressed her admiration for the former Strictly pro and his willingness to guide her through the process.
The documentary series, Sex: A Bonkers History, will air on Sky History starting on September 18 at 9pm.
