Amanda Holden has revealed she won’t be releasing more music

Amanda’s covers album was a big hit

Speaking ahead of the launch of Britain’s Got Talent, she revealed: “I brought an album out in lockdown and it got to number two, just saying.

“You could never knock Ed Sheeran or someone like that off. Oh it was Adele wasn’t it.

“I dropped the mic, I’m over it.”

Simon Cowell, who head up the BGT judging panel was keen to know if more music was on it’s way, asking her: “Are you not making another album?”

Amanda Holden passes out after being hypnotised by a GHOST on BGT

She hastily replied: “No!”

According to The Official Albums Chart the album actually peaked at number four and remained in the chart for six weeks.

Amanda will be back on our TV screens this weekend on BGT as the show finally returns after nearly two years away due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Giving a hint at what is to come Amanda revealed how she was hypnotised by a phantom – but she can barely remember the ordeal.

“We had a phantom man perform and he got me up on stage,” Amanda recalled, adding: “I’ll be honest, I can’t really remember what happened.

“One minute I was on stage and then the next minute I was asleep, and Alesha was like, ‘Well, you just did this and I was like, ‘No
I didn’t.'”

Amanda delved into the performance and detailed that she was tasked with guessing what the other judges had picked from a box – until things got spooky.

She added: “I was tasked with guessing what the other judges had picked from a box.

“He obviously had control over my mind because I guessed
exactly whatever Alesha picked, even though I didn’t see.

“I don’t know how it happened or how it worked. I can’t wait to watch that one on TV.”
