Amanda Owen breaks silence with sweet post on Father’s Day after split from husband Clive

OUR Yorkshire Farm’s Amanda Owen has broken her silence on social media after announcing her split from husband Clive.

The Yorkshire Shepherdess, 47, normally posts on social media most days — typically sharing updates and images about her family.

Amanda shared pictures of two of her daughters running happily through the fields

However, since announcing her split from her husband Clive, 67, on Instagram last week, Amanda’s posts have been infrequent.

She went over a week without posting a family update and she had her fans worried.

But Amanda broke her social media silence on Father’s Day, sharing a post with two of her daughters — Clemmy, 6, and Nancy, 5 — but didn’t mention Clive.

In the photos, Clemmy and Nancy, who were dressed in their Sunday best, ran through a field of wildflowers.

“Running up that hill,” Amanda wrote alongside the photos with music note emojis as a nod to the popular Kate Bush song of the same name before adding “& down it too.”

Fans were thrilled to see that Amanda has returned to social media.

“Been missing your posts … sending love xx,” one supporter said in response to Amanda’s post.

Another fan shared their support for the Yorkshire Shepherdess’ return to social media, saying: “Beautiful photos as always … I’ve really missed them over the last few days. Hope you’re all well. Please keep putting the pictures of your beautiful family on and take care.”

A subsequent Our Yorkshire Farm viewer commented on the “beautiful” photos but questioned where the rest of the family were. “Wish you would tell us where everyone else is, Amanda. Those who follow you are very devoted to your whole family.”

They continued: “We have taken you all into our hearts and would like to know how you all are or tell us what is stopping you telling us!”

Amanda’s social media hiatus came after she announced that she and her husband Clive had split up after 21 years of marriage.

“Clive and I are sad to confirm that we have made the difficult decision to separate,” Amanda said in a statement on Instagram. “This hasn’t been easy, but we both believe it’s the right choice for the future of our family.”

She continued: “Although we are no longer a couple, we continue to work on the farm and co-parent together, with our number one priority the happiness and well-being of our children.

“We would like to thank everyone for their support and would that the media please respect our privacy as we work through this difficult time.”

The couple first sparked rumours of a marriage breakdown in October last year. Family friends confirmed to The Celeb Report that they were trying to save their marriage, but that Amanda was spending nights away from the family farm.

Amanda and Clive share nine children, who they assured were their top priority amidst their split.

“Although we are no longer a couple, we continue to work on the farm and co-parent together, with our number one priority the happiness and well-being of our children,” Amanda said in the statement.

Following the announcement, Channel 5 confirmed what this meant for the future of Our Yorkshire Farm.

“We respect the privacy of Amanda and Clive Owen at this time,” a spokesperson said in a statement to Express.co.uk. “They are very much a part of the Channel 5 family and we will continue to work with them in the future.”

Amanda referenced a Kate Bush song but made no mention of her estranged husband Clive or Father’s Day
