AMERICAN Pickers star Mike Wolfe revealed he’s starring with actor Jason Momoa in a new project.
The 57-year-old is busy hosting is popular antiquing reality show, but that didn’t stop him from traveling all around Nashville with the Aquaman star, 42, for his new show.
To formally announce the exciting news, after The Celeb Report exclusively revealed the stars’ partnership in December, Mike posted a couple of group shots from the adventure.
The first saw him and Jason in the middle, with a couple of other guys on either side of them.
They all stood outside of an old building with vines growing all over its walls, and they smiled for the camera.
An excited also kicked out one leg and threw up a rock and roll hand sign in the air.
The second photo featured Jason, Mike, and Cyclemos Speed Shop and Speed Equipment owner Mike Silvio hanging out inside around a unique, collector’s motorcycle.
Mike captioned the post: “Excited to be a piece to the puzzle of your new project.
“Antique motorcycles are the vehicles that brought us together.
“Storytellers, Iowa boys, and constantly on the roam. Love you brother @cyclemos @prideofgypsies”
Jason commented: “love u wolf” and added a couple heart emojis.
The Game of Thrones alum, who recently split from his wife Lisa Bonet, shared a collection of photos from the trip to his own page, as well.
He included the same ones as Mike and added a few extra, including one of him sitting on a motorcycle and a bunch of him checking out some music in the area.
“NASHVILLE WOW. blew my mind,” he wrote. “ON THE ROAM @discoveryplus so many amazing moments.”
The 42-year-old continued: “Motorcycles music guitars ohana all my aloha to @cyclemos @mikewolfeamericanpicker @urbancowboyhotels @lyonporter @blackpumas dan nicky and dean @theryman @dicemagazine @gueikian @gibsonguitar @cartervintageguitars.”
He added that he’s very “excited to show everyone” what they filmed during the large group’s adventure around the city.
In December, The Celeb Report exclusively revealed that Jason and Mike had teamed up for a mystery project.
The American Pickers star runs Mossy Point Productions, LLC and his December 6 divorce settlement with ex-wife Jodi revealed the secret collaboration.
The court papers exclusively obtained by The Celeb Report from a Tennessee court read: “[Mike] is awarded the sole and exclusive right to any and all intellectual property owned or created prior to or during the marriage including all creative content, shows, scripts, pitches, ideas, and all other intellectual property or other material created by him and/or MRW Properties, Inc. and/or Mossy Point productions.”
He was also awarded the “sole, exclusive and continued right to use his name, image, and likeness and all other names, logos, or other intellectual property involving the show, American Pickers, River Raiders and Untitled Jason Momoa Project, and/or any other show created or contributed by him now or in the future.”
The collector and actor first met back in September 2020.
Jason captioned a series of photos of the new friends at the time: “2 IOWA BOYZ. 2 1936 KNUCKLEHEADS we finally meet @mikewolfeamericanpicker @columbiamotoralley.
“It’s an honour bro you have always been an inspiration. Look forward to our many projects. Mahalo for giving me the tanks and the 1936 you’re a legend.”
Mike’s latest project comes as he continues to star on American Pickers, which recently saw long-time co-star Frank Fritz being fired from the series.
Frank, 57, last appeared on American Pickers during a March 2020 episode, as he took time off to recover from back surgery, which left him with 185 stitches and two rods in his spine.
Though Frank expressed his desire to return to the History show, Mike revealed Frank had been fired from the show on Instagram in July.
