Amy Childs Postpones Second Series of ITV Show after 'Massive Row' with Fiancé Billy

Reality Queen Reveals Struggles with Constant Cameras

Amy Childs, the reality TV star known for her appearances on The Only Way is Essex (TOWIE), has announced that she is postponing the second series of her ITVBe show, Amy Childs: The Twin Life.

Childs, who recently welcomed twins Billy and Amelia, explained that the constant presence of cameras made filming difficult. She and her fiancé Billy Delbosq reportedly had a major argument on the first day of filming.

The 33-year-old, speaking to The Celeb Report, said that the show offered viewers a glimpse into the "less glamorous" side of her life. "People see me on TOWIE and think my life is so glam, but this was really stripped back and raw," she said. "It was very full-on."

Despite the success of the first series, which saw soaring viewing figures, Childs has decided not to proceed with a second series for now. She wants to focus on enjoying her time with the twins without the constant presence of cameras.

"I feel like I want to really enjoy the twins for a while. It is hard when you have the cameras there all the time," she explained. "I think when the twins are one, maybe in six months to a year, I would love to do a second series. But right now, my life is so full-on, I feel like I need a bit of a break and a couple of months off."

Wedding Plans Put on Hold

In addition to delaying the second series of her show, Childs has also postponed her wedding plans with Delbosq. The couple, who got engaged in April 2023, have decided to take things slower.

The TOWIE personality revealed to The Celeb Report: "There are no plans for a wedding at the moment. I actually asked Bill if he still wanted to marry me the other day, because since he proposed, he hasn't mentioned it since. I think we will get married in a couple of years. There is no rush."

Childs emphasized that she wants to focus on her children at the moment and doesn't feel the need to get married to prove anything. She admitted that she initially started looking at wedding dresses, but hasn't thought about it since.

Billy, 40, incorporated their newborns into his proposal, dressing them in matching suits that read: "Mummy will you marry my Daddy?" Childs, 32, happily said yes, and referred to herself as "Future Mrs Amy Delbosq."

As of now, there is no confirmed release date for the second series of Amy Childs: The Twin Life.

Towie airs on Sundays at 9pm on ITVBe.
