A peek inside the stunning pad

Ashley James recently took to Instagram to give her fans a sneak peek into her new London home, sharing a carousel of snaps with them. The former reality star and her partner Tommy have been together since 2019, and after moving from Essex, Ashley found that most of her old furniture does not fit in their new abode.

Realistic mess and gratitude

In a heartfelt caption, Ashley expressed gratitude for their new London home, highlighting the challenges they faced to get there. She shared, "I don’t and won’t ever take that for granted! It’s been a journey to getting here since I very first moved to London when I was 18."

Home renovation plans

Ashley revealed their slow progress in renovating the house due to financial constraints, mentioning their plans for wardrobes and cabinetry. She also shared a hiccup they encountered - the discovery that some rooms lack ceiling lights, which might need to be addressed in the future.

From Essex to Battersea

Last year, Ashley sold her period property in Essex for £1.5m and moved back to Battersea in south London with her partner and children. She expressed her joy at being back in Battersea for good, describing the area as feeling like home.

Family life and career

Ashley, known for her appearances on E4's Made in Chelsea, welcomed her first child in 2021 and her daughter the following year. The family's move back to London was influenced by a desire for more activities and a sense of community, after struggling to adjust to life in Essex during lockdown.
