ALISON Hammond left Celebs Go Dating star Paul Brunson blushing when she admitted she wants to find a man like him.
The married dating expert was on today’s This Morning to help viewers on their quest to find love when the TV host confessed she wants someone like Paul in her life.
After teasing his upcoming segment, Alison, 46, said: “I just want to find a man like him. That’s all I want.
“I know he’s married but someone like him. That’s all I need in my life, a Paul. Look at his little face, isn’t he lovely?”
To which, her co-host Dermot O’Leary hilariously agreed and said: “If I was single I would want to find someone like him.”
“Now I said someone like Paul, not Paul, just someone like him,” she clarified.
However, Dermot couldn’t help but tease her and insisted: “I would want Paul and wouldn’t settle for anything less” much to both Alison and Paul’s amusement.
Her confession comes days after Alison revealed she wished she had a second child with her ex-fiancé.
The TV star admitted that she regrets her decision to go on contraception after her son Aiden was born and wished she’d “banged another baby out”.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, the beloved presenter said she has “so much love to give” and in hindsight would have loved five or six children.
She began: “I wish I’d banged out two at the same time. As soon as I had Aidan I went straight on contraception because the doctors encourage you to.
“I wish I hadn’t listened and just banged another baby out then. I’m so disappointed as I always saw myself with five or six kids, not one.
“I’ve got so much love to give, I need six to share it all around.”
Alison added that while she would consider adoption, she would only do it with a partner.
The 46-year-old TV star welcomed her teenage son with her ex Nourddine Boufaied.
The pair were engaged but they never made it down the aisle, with Alison revealing how the relationship began to crumble.
Writing in You’ve Got To Laugh: Stories from a Life Lived to the Full, she shared: “Over time we realised we weren’t compatible. He wanted to be in Manchester and I wanted to be in Birmingham.”
“Eventually we split up. Nourddine became an every-other-weekend dad, and in time, we saw him as and when he wanted to see Aidan.”
The TV star said they are both still friends and have travelled the world together with their son.
Taxi driver Nourddine, she writes, ended up married to a Tunisian woman and now has three children with her.
