Despite winning awards and signing a deal with Netflix, Baby Reindeer star Richard Gadd, 35, was spotted cruising around North London in a battered Skoda Fabia. The car was missing hub caps, the fuel filler cap, and the rear bumper and wing mirror were held together with tape.
Legal battle over real-life inspiration
Netflix's Baby Reindeer, based on Gadd's one-man show, has garnered success but also a £127million lawsuit from Scottish lawyer Fiona Harvey, who claims the show destroyed her life. The judge ruled the case can go ahead, with a trial set for May next year.
