THE Bachelorette fans have demanded that Katie Thurston’s former suitors Michael Allio or Andrew Spencer should be cast as the next Bachelor.
Nothing would please the fanbase more if either one of their favorites became the lead of his own ABC show.
In one of the recent episodes of The Bachelorette, the single father Michael, 34, decided to exit the show in order to return to his 4-year-old son James.
During his heartbreaking phone call with James, Michael was visibly distraught as he told his toddler: “I miss you like crazy buddy.”
The audio was then heard of James chiming in: “Maybe Daddy don’t want to see me.”
In another episode, Katie, 30, eliminated footballer, Andrew, 26, at the rose ceremony but ended up having a change of heart.
She chased him down a hotel hallway to ask him to stay, but Andrew turned her down.
TAKE YOUR PICK
Fans have picked out their own Bachelor and made their voices heard online.
One fan stated: “ABC, all I’m asking is for Michael A to be Bachelor and his son is like… the bartender or something.”
Another person wrote: “Crazy idea, we make both Michael AND Andrew the Bachelor, and when one is on a date the other watches Michael’s son.”
A third fan wrote: “We’re begging you, Michael, for Bachelor and let him bring his son it’s the only way.”
A fourth person mentioned: “I’m totally fine with a double Bachelor season starring Michael and Andrew. Why choose one when you could choose both?”
Another commentator said: “ABC PLEASE MAKE ANDREW THE BACHELOR!”
‘GOT MY HEART BROKEN’
On Tuesday, Michael revealed if he was interested in becoming the next Bachelor.
During an interview with People, Michael said: “I literally just got my heart broken on TV, so I am trying to mend those wings. And I have to think about what it would be like to get engaged in and introduce someone to my son in such a quick timeframe. I’m not sold on the idea!”
He added: “I do think love is totally out there for me. I’m getting a lot of messages from people who are resonating with my story and my message to any widower is that they can find it, too.
“It is possible — and they are worth it.”
‘ALL BLONDES’
Andrew even admitted on social media that his dream was to become the next Bachelor.
Back in 2014, Andrew wrote with a smirk: “Let me be the next Bachelor.”
Unfortunately, his old tweets have also been causing controversy for the TV star.
His social media posts have resurfaced and show Andrew calling women “fat hoes” as well as other concerning comments.
In a tweet sent to his friend, he said in 2013: “And Direll, stop talking to fat hoes.”
Then in 2016, the former Bachelorette contestant said: “All blondes have little lips.”
