What to know about The Bachelorette's premiere

Users on Twitter had a laugh about the commercial, weighing in on the platform.

One shared a video with the audio, writing: “I mean we all knew Bach nation isn’t for stable relationships but this is wild. ‘Dump his a**'”

Another tweeted: “This had me shook.”

A third fan joked: “Wow. The casting people really woke up to write that and chose violence.”

Someone else added: “No bc that dump his a** bachelor casting promo actually inspired me.”

A fifth viewer wrote: “I’m sorry I literally can not pay attention to a thing happening right now because I’m still thinking about the ‘your boyfriends a loser – dump his a**’ commercial.”

The cast of the dual-Bachelorette season was announced in June, more than a month before the premiere.

Fans have been split about the upcoming season.

On the day of the premiere, The Bachelorette’s Twitter account wrote: “Tonight could be the start of two fairytale love stories.

One Twitter user commented: “Why are we always forcing the girls to compete with one another as bachelorette and never the men? They clearly don’t want to be dating the same men AGAIN on an even weirder level.”

Another user, on the other hand, expressed her approval of the Bachelorettes for the upcoming season: “called it right! Great choices! Sounds amazing!! Gabby & Rachel!”

Others were concerned about the fact that there would be two bachelorettes:

“Disappointed by producers on this. Let’s celebrate these women being supportive of each other and then pit them against each other for ratings. Ya’ll are ruthless,” one Twitter goer wrote.

Another added that the “Bachelorette in New Zealand in 2020 had two female leads and the men were divided into two separate groups the bachelorettes did not date the same man but supported each other. That’s what I’m hoping for the US Bachelorette.”

This isn’t the first time The Bachelorette in the US has had two leads.

The Bachelorette first introduced two leads in Season 11 with Britt Nilsson and Kaitlyn Bristowe, however, the contestants had to vote on who would become the single bachelorette for the season.

Season 16 also saw two bachelorettes after Clare Crawley left the show after finding love early on, giving Tayshia Adams a time to shine, but never has there been a season with two leads until now.

Fans will just have to wait and see how the latest season pans out.
