Bad Santa child star Brett Kelly looks unrecognisable 19 years after playing Thurman Murman in Christmas flick

BAD Santa child star Brett Kelly is unrecognisable nearly two decades on from playing Thurman Merman on the Christmas film.

As an eight-year-old, Brett played lovable loser Thurman in the holiday comedy, released in 2003.

But fast forward 19 years later and Brett, now 28, plays Cecil Patterson, the paralegal in drama series Family Law, about a group of flawed family members who reluctantly work together at their father’s law firm in downtown Vancouver.

The actor is all grown up now and looks very different from his days curly blonde hair days and baby face looks.

He made an appearance in the movie High School nearly seven years later but decided to take a break from the glitz and glamour of the acting world.

However, he couldn’t stay away for too long and returned for Bad Santa 2 sequel in 2016.

“I’ve been living an extremely normal and boring life. I went to a regular high school, graduated from university, and basically that brings us up to this point,” he told Today.

The original Bad Santa defied all expectations with its funny, original, foul-mouthed anti-Christmas sentiment.

A miserable conman and his partner pose as Santa and his Little Helper to rob department stores on Christmas Eve.

But they run into problems when the conman befriends a troubled kid.

Bad Santa was played by Hollywood star Billy Bob Thornton and starred alongside Bernie Mac and Lauren Graham.
