BAKE Off: The Professionals host Ellie Taylor has confessed to stealing sweet treats from the show’s secret store cupboards.
Ellie, 39, appeared on The One Show last night and spoke about the perks of working on the Channel 4 cooking series.

She said she couldn’t resist swiping a few tasty snacks from the pantry.
The Ted Lasso actor said: “There were so many delicious things that I started to bring my own tupperware to work.”
Talking to The One Show presenters Alex Jones and Jermaine Jenas, the ex Strictly star continued: “Then I found out where the chocolate cupboard was.”
Alex was intrigued and interupted her, saying: “Hang on, what, there’s a chocolate cupboard?
“Is it full of cooking chocolate though, that doesn’t taste great?”
Ellie replied: “There’s a chocolate cupboard and it is amazing.
“It’s the finest most delicious most fancy chocolate, it’s beautiful I was in heaven.”
Ellie previously admitted to having an uncontrollable sweet tooth.
She told The Guardian last month: “I don’t think I’ve ever met a cake or a biscuit I didn’t like.
“So I was really chuffed to get this gig (presenting Bake Off: The Professionals).
“I imagine somewhere there’s a montage of all the times that I was caught snaffling things I shouldn’t. And you know what? I don’t care. I regret nothing.”
Ellie hosts Bake Off: The Professionals with series legend Liam Charles, who has hosted the show since 2018 and is also a judge on Junior Bake Off.
Since finding fame on Bake Off, he has become a TV star and celebrity baker.
He has also published two cook books and regularly contributes to The Guardian’s baking column.
In 2021, Ellie hit international stardom on the hit show Ted Lasso, when she played Flo “Sassy” Collins – Rebecca’s best friend and Ted’s on/off love interest.
She has been married to CNN freelance reporter Phil Black since 2015.
Together they have one daughter, named Valentina, born in 2018.
In July 2021, Ellie published her debut book My Child And Other Mistakes: How To Ruin Your Life In The Best Way Possible, which became a Sunday Times bestseller.
