BARGAIN Hunt expert Charles Hanson was left wide-eyed after one contestant jokingly strangled him after making a disastrous loss.
Monday afternoon’s episode of the popular BBC programme welcomed close friends Steve and Bill, representing the red team.

The Vesta case, purchased for £195, made a loss of £115 at auction
They were advised by antiques expert Charles to purchase a golf-embossed Vesta case – used to hold matches in Edwardian times – from the year 1906.
Despite being priced at £220, the red team purchased the item for £195.
It was later sold at auction for a measly £80, with Steve seeing red and strangling the expert for steering them wrong.
As the Vesta case was presented by the auctioneer, Bill voiced his concerns that it wasn’t drawing in the offers they had expected the item to go for.

Using golf-related puns, an uncomfortable Charles replied: “It’s not teeing off. We’re in the rough, gents. We’re in the rough.”
After it was made official that the Vesta case had been purchased for £80, Bargain Hunt presenter Natasha Raskin Sharp, said: “Gents, it’s sore.
“It’s a hammer price of £80 and it’s a loss for you of £115.”
Shaking his head and putting his hands on his hips, Steve then jokingly grabbed Charles by the throat with both hands.
The alarmed expert replied: “It wasn’t the hole-in-one I was hoping for.”
Following their lack of fortune with the Vesta case, Bill and Steve opted to try and sell their bonus buy.
It wasn’t enough, however, as the episode was later won by the blue team, led by David Harper, with a profit of £18.
Bargain Hunt is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
