Virtual Snub
One of the stars from Bargain Hunt has been virtually ‘snubbed’ from the anniversary special after sensationally quitting the long-running BBC show.
Under Fire
Dickie bow-wearing Tim Wonnacott, 73, who was a beloved face of the show for over a decade, only gets 20 seconds of airtime in the 45-minute TV special marking the programme’s 25th anniversary.
New Direction
Tim Wonnacott famously took over the role from David Dickinson in 2003 and stayed until 2015, when he stepped down for "personal reasons." BBC executives wanted to move the show in a "new direction" with antiques experts taking on hosting roles.
Allegations Surface
Allegations surfaced after Tim's exit, with reports of complaints from staff at BBC Bristol and a confrontation with a producer. Despite this, Tim expressed his gratitude for being part of Bargain Hunt and looks forward to developing new program ideas.

Available for Streaming
Bargain Hunt can be streamed on BBC iPlayer for fans who want to catch up on the show's episodes.
