The BBC revealed last month that Naga would guest host on its hugely successful quiz show for the first time.

She was joined by Times Radio host and former leader of the Scottish Conservative Party Ruth Davidson.

On the panel were longtime members Ian Hislop, 62, and Paul Merton, 65, who gave their usual quips and fresh take on the current news.

But it was Naga who stole the show, with fans calling for her to become the permanent host.

Viewers immediately took to Twitter, with one saying: “Naga Munchetty absolutely smashing this! Please make her a permanent presenter!”

While this one posted: “Naga Munchetty is pretty good on Have I got news for you isn’t she!”

Another tweeted; “Defo get Naga back on have I got news for you please!”

Meanwhile, yesterday Naga fans were thrilled to see her back on BBC Breakfast after being “missing” from the show.

Her return to BBC One’s flagship Monsignor show, came after she previously revealed an ongoing health battle she is facing.

She has gone public with her condition after her husband was forced to call an ambulance as a result of a severe flare-up.

Naga said of her heartbreaking ordeal: “The pain was so terrible I couldn’t move, turn over, sit up. I screamed non-stop for 45 minutes.”

The womb condition is known as adenomyosis and is thought to affect around one in every 10 women but is often undiagnosed.
