CHAOS descended on BBC Breakfast today after Gary Barlow’s performance was derailed by a technical blunder.
The Take That frontman appeared on the BBC show to talk about new theatrical stage show.
A Different Stage sees Gary narrate the journey of his life alongside the music from his incredible discography.
As well as discussing the show’s West End run, Gary had hoped to perform one of his famous pop hits on a mini keyboard he had brought in with him.
Host Charlie Stayt said: “Gary Barlow is here as you can see man with keyboard arrives in the studio.
“You’ve brought your little keyboard with you but the sad thing is…”

“It doesn’t work!” joked Gary as Naga Munchetty added: “Didn’t stop Charlie trying to plug a laptop charger in it.”
Charlie continued: “I tried to put that in [the keyboard] but it didn’t make any difference.”
Gary quipped: “You need to be careful where you put that thing. It might not bring everything to life.”
Charlie said: “Explain, because this is a bit of your history, this is very personal for you.”
Gary explained: “It is actually, it was my entry into music. I got this for Christmas when I was 11 this was the day it all began.
“The feeling I had when I first played this never left actually.”
At the end of the interview, Charlie said: “I’m so disappointed we didn’t have the correct charger for your keyboard.”
Gary replied: “Next time, next time. No one said bring the charger.”
