She laughed when she realised he had meant the ones in her hair

BBC Breakfast sent journalist Colin Paterson along to Glastonbury speak to revellers preparing for the music extravaganza.

Colin spoke to one festival-goer from Liverpool who was struggling to get her wheely case across the mud in the field.

It wasn’t the only reason she had stood out to the journalist, as she was also wearing a number of large rollers in her hair.

The woman, dressed in a black jumper with a pink bag slung across her body, chatted to Colin about her arrival, but they soon got their wires crossed.

Colin said: “What about the rollers?” and she replied: “It’s not great. We were walking and then all of a sudden it [her suitcase] just sank, so we’ve had to drag it the whole way, it’s a nightmare.”

Colin was forced to repeat his question, to which she hilariously replied: “What rollers?”

But then it suddenly dawned on her he meant the ones in her hair, and with a laugh she said: “Oh the rollers! I thought you meant the wheels on the thing.”

She added: “I just got a curly blow this morning.”

Viewers immediately took to Twitter to share their joy at the funny moment, with one writing: “K, I am having a bad day and you are my hero. Thank you, Roller Person.”

Another said: “I love her so much I’ll do anything for her.”

A third tweeted: “She’s an absolute icon, she’s so lovely.”

Meanwhile a fourth added: “I’M OBSESSED, WHO IS SHE?”

BBC Breakfast airs daily from 6am on BBC One, while Glastonbury coverage will air on BBC iPlayer and BBC Sounds across the weekend.
