BBC BREAKFAST’S Naga Munchetty just couldn’t help taking a savage swipe at Saturday Kitchen’s Matt Tebbutt today.
The broadcaster, 47, was today on her usual hosting duties for the BBC One morning programme alongside Charlie Stayt.

Naga, is known for her cheeky quips, and today Matt was the butt of her joke.
During a live link up with Saturday Kitchen, Matt started talking in length about his dislike at the World Cup being in winter, and started his rant off with, “If you want my opinion…” and then carried on talking.
After he had finished, Naga then quipped: “Usually Matt, when someone asks if you want their opinion, they wait for yes or no.”
Taking her jibe well, Matt erupted into laughter, as did the Saturday Kitchen studio.
Naga is well known for her savage put downs, when it comes to her BBC co-workers.
On yesterday’s BBC Breakfast Naga also made a cheeky dig at Carol Kirkwood as she and Charlie Stayt announced the news of the first coins bearing King Charles’ image.
Introducing the topic on the show, Naga said: “The first 50 pence coins bearing the image of King Charles are going to enter circulation today.”
Charlie continued: “Five million are being distributed to post offices and will be given out to customers.
The BBC host explained that the sculptor Martin Jennings used pictures of King Charles on his 70th birthday to make the new image, before adding it was his “smallest piece of artwork” to date.
“There’s the nostalgia,” Naga said. “Carol, do you know that feeling?
“Do you remember you’d get really excited because you’d have a new picture of the Royal Family or a special minted coin. You’d be excited about it and you’d keep it and not spend it.”
Seeing the humour in Naga’s comment, Carol replied: “That’s absolutely right and when the new coins came out as well I remember that.
“We lost the thrup’nny bit and we picked up a half pence and a one pence.”
Naga then quickly took a cheeky swipe at Carol’s age, as she said: “Oh you do go back, don’t you?”
A red-faced Carol, smile and replied: “Why did I say that?”
“Thrup’nny bits, you never want to lose them,” Naga joked.
After the slightly embarrassing on-air moment, Carol then delivered the latest weather forecast to BBC viewers, warning them of the “cold day” ahead.
