BBC Breakfast's Naga Munchetty couldn't resist making a playful dig at Carol Kirkwood during a goodbye on the show. As the news journalist and her co-presenter Charlie Stayt were back on the iconic red sofa delivering the latest news to viewers, Carol joined them to give the weather report.

During Carol's presentation, Charlie remarked, "That is quite a weather forecast, isn't it Carol?" Impressed by the report, he left Carol feeling unsure if it was meant as a compliment or not. Carol responded by saying, "Thank you, Charlie, I am not sure if that is good or bad but I'll take it as a compliment, thank you."

Naga Munchetty's playful teasing

Naga couldn't resist chiming in and teasing Carol, asking Charlie if he was complimenting Carol or the weather. After thinking about it for a moment, Charlie clarified that he was referring to the amount of weather, not Carol's delivery of it. In response, Carol jokingly admitted that she had intentionally twisted his words to her benefit, but it backfired.
