A BBC Breakfast reporter was left red-faced after a mortifying wardrobe blunder during a farming report.
Today’s programme saw hosts Jon Kay and Sally Nugent discuss rising food prices and how chicken was the latest ingredient to see costs soaring.
They then linked to reporter Nina Warhurst, who was visiting a chicken farm in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire.
Nina explained how the cost of breeding and looking after chickens for their meat or eggs were rising due to the cost of living crisis, and how this was having a knock on effect to restaurants.
She explained how Nandos and KFC had already increased their prices because of the situation, and how that could then mean families choose to stay home rather then spend even more on a meal out.
While the subject matter was serious, there was a moment of humour when Nina was given a chicken to hold towards the end of her broadcast.

While the animal cooperated on camera, the reporter admitted that hadn’t been the case earlier.
She said: “Just to say, it’s the first time I’ve held chicks today.
“But if you were wondering down here if this is toothpaste from this morning…it is not.”
While Nina looked smart in her blue puffy coat, a glimpse of a mark on the opposite side to where she held the chicken could be seen.
Sally replied: “Thanks Nina, for that image.”
Earlier in the show, Jon, 52, interviewed Transport Secretary Grant Shapps about the latest ‘Partygate’ pictures.
Viewers were impressed with his tough line of questioning and making the MP ‘squirm’ and called for bosses to make him the permanent replacement for Dan Walker, who left the show last week.
BBC Breakfast airs daily from 6am on BBC One.
