But under new plans reportedly being discussed, the show could be set for a shakeup.
Website TVZone reports Beeb bosses are looking into extending the running time of the programme.
It’s also reported the BBC News at One could be moving to Salford, where BBC Breakfast is broadcast from.
If the change does happen, it would mean Morning Live, which follows Breakfast, would have a new timeslot.
The website added that if the changes are agreed, they won’t happen this year.
The Celeb Report Online has contacted the BBC for comment.
Meanwhile, BBC Breakfast featured a hosting shake up this week as two of its regular stars failed to appear.
Hosts Jon Kay, 53, and Sally Nugent, 51, were both absent from the BBC morning TV show.
The pair regularly present the show Monday-Wednesday but were left nowhere to be seen.
Whilst no reason was announced prior to the shake up, it is likely to be as a result of the pair being given time off due to the Bank Holiday.
Instead, two familiar faces stood in to bring Britain up to speed with the latest headlines.
Roger Johnson, 54, and pregnant Nina Warhurst, 42, both filled in on the morning programme.
