Weather presenter Carol Kirkwood recently opened up about her past marriage while discussing her current relationship with her second husband, Steve Randall, who is 13 years her junior.
Carol was previously married to property developer Jimmy Kirkwood for 18 years before they parted ways. Despite her privacy regarding her love life, she shared that she is happier with Steve.
New Beginnings
Carol and Steve tied the knot in December 2023 during an intimate ceremony at Cliveden House. The couple got engaged in May the previous year, revealing the news live on air at the Chelsea Flower Show.
Reflecting on their meeting, Carol described a "sliding doors moment" when she and Steve crossed paths at a work function nearly seven years ago. They both attended the event on a whim, unaware that it would lead to a lasting relationship.
