DAN Walker has made a candid confession about an awkward encounter he had with Katie Price.
Former BBC Breakfast host Dan, 45, recalled the time Katie, 44, ran for parliament and he was sent to cover it as a reporter.
Dan opened up about an awkward encounter with Katie Price
But he insisted the Pricey thankfully didn’t notice his blunder
He said: “The most embarrassing thing that ever happened to me was, do you remember a few years ago?
“Jordan [Katie Price] ran for MP in Stretford and Urmston. I was at a radio station at the time and my boss sent me down.”
Dan continued to the Daily Star: “My boss said: ‘Go down there. You’ve got to get an interview with her, whatever you do’.
“I was so concentrated on getting the interview that I didn’t see a wheelie bin and I went in [it], came out the other side of the wheelie bin and next thing I knew – banana all over my face!”
More on Katie Price
Luckily Dan was spared his blushes as he insisted the Pricey didn’t clock his epic blunder.
Dan made the revelation tonight at the Pride of Britain awards, where Katie’s children Princess, 15, and Junior, 17, walked the red carpet alongside their dad, Peter Andre.
And Princess was a dead ringer for Katie her modelling heyday while posing up a storm for photographers.
Princess wowed in a sparkly floor-length black dress and wore her long curly hair down.
