Jon was discussing new research into doppelgangers on Wednesdays show
Holding up an article from The Times about new research into doppelgangers, Jon said: “This is freaky.
“There’s a story in The Times this morning on doppelgängers. You know when you see somebody in the street or somebody tells you they’ve seen someone who looks exactly like you?
“Well there’s research that has been done that says there’s something in the genes.
“It’s not just that you look alike, but they’ve done some work that even though these people might not be related to you, you act like them as well.

“There are brain and behavioural similarities in people who look alike too.”
He then asked Tina if she had ever seen anyone who looked exactly like her and she said she hadn’t.
Jon the revealed: “I get told all the time I look like someone’s brother, or… I’ve just got one of those faces. Boring faces.”
Tina agreed, saying: “You do!” before adding quickly: “I didn’t say boring, you did!”
Almost to hammer the point home, some BBC Breakfast viewers thought Jon even looked like the man used in the picture alongside the article.
One wrote on Twitter: “Is it just me who thought @jonkay01 looked a lot like the doppelgänger in the newspaper featured on #BBCBreakfast this morning.
“You really *do* have one of those faces Jon.”
Jon replied in good humour: “Ha. Not unlike you, too!”
