NAGA Munchetty was caught off guard this morning as she was embarrisingly snubbed on BBC Breakfast.
The TV host was presenting live from Downing Street following Liz Truss’ resignation as PM where she revealed the awkward blunder.

Larry the Cat is a mainstay at the political hotpsot
Chatting to host Charlie Stayt who was in the studio in Salford for the BBC One programme, Naga confirmed that the house cat, Larry, had refused to come up to her.
A somber looking Naga admitted to her co-host: “We saw Larry the cat here and one of the things we’ve noticed is that he’s quite aloof. He doesn’t really care for strangers.”
Naga went onto acknowledge her admiration for her co-star after he had previously been able to make contact with the cat on his last visit.
The former Strictly contestant said: “I think he’s been so used to people coming in and out [of Downing Street] so I have extra admiration for you, Charlie, because you actually managed to get a little stroke with him. He’s completely ignored all of us here.”
STREET LIFE
BBC Breakfast fans all have the same question as Naga Munchetty ditches studio
Responding from the sofa, a chuckling Charlie replied: “Yes, when I was down there – that was the time of Boris Johnson’s resignation, of course – there was some dismay amongst the rival teams there from various networks because he came walking over and, of course, came straight to the BBC Breakfast team.”
Implying that Larry had a favourite amongst the broadcasters, he continued: “He walked away from everybody else and came straight over. We took it as a sign.”
Mike Bushell was also in the studio and suggested that Naga’s bold outfit choice had put the cat off.
He said: ‘I like Naga’s outfit but the pink is quite loud isn’t it? It’s quite bright, bold. Maybe it’s too much for Larry?’
Larry the Cat has been a permanent fixture of the political scene and has lived at 10 Downing Street longer than the last four Prime Minister’s themselves.
His reign at the famous house is longer than that of Liz, Boris Johnson, Theresa May and David Cameron.
