Nina Warhurst stepped in for Naga today
However, she was nowhere to be seen on today’s show, with colleague Nina Warhurst stepping in to sit beside Charlie on the red sofa.
Meanwhile Carol Kirkwood was on hand for the weather updates throughout the show, but Naga’s absence didn’t go unnoticed.
One viewer wrote on Twitter: “BBCBreakfast @NinaWarhurst Charlie… where is @TVNaga01?”
Another added: “Different atmosphere on @BBCBreakfast this morning with @NinaWarhurst rather than @TVNaga01.”

Naga has made no comment about her absence on social media so far, so fans will have to wait and see if it’s a one-off absence or if she’s actually on a well-earned holiday.
Last week, Naga consoled weather presenter Simon King after his beloved cat passed away.
Taking to Twitter, Simon posted a photo of his of ginger tom Alfie and wrote: “He had a good life of 17 years but old age issues finally caught up with him and we had to say goodbye to Alfie today. Rest in peace my tiger.”
He added: “We had to make that decision and it was so hard. Just had to keep remembering it was the best thing for him in the circumstances.”
Naga replied: “So sorry Simon xxx.”
Naga can relate to Simon as she lost her beloved pet cat Missy last month.
She penned: “Said goodbye to our darling, sweet girl Missy yesterday.
“She may have been small, but she was immense in stature.
“The sweetest cat I’ve ever loved. She’s left a massive hole in our hearts and home.”
Naga has two other cats named Xena and Bella which she frequently posts on Instagram.
BBC Breakfast airs daily from 6am on BBC One.
