BBC Breakfast anchor Naga Munchetty jokingly scolded her colleagues and gave a sassy side-eye after being excluded from a 'Christmas tradition' on the show.
Naga Munchetty left out of festive tie memo
In a light-hearted moment on today's BBC Breakfast, Naga Munchetty discovered that she had missed out on a dress code memo. Sports journalist Chetan Pathak and co-host Charlie Stayt were both dressed in matching burgundy ties, prompting Charlie to remark, "I did notice earlier on you got the memo about the ties." Chetan replied, "I thought it was that time of year we wear the same burgundy tie, so we did it, Charlie."
Playful scolding and side-eye
Upon realizing she was not included in the festive tie tradition, Naga glanced down at her blouse and gave a playful side-eye to Chetan, asking, "Why didn't I get the memo?" Charlie, trying to diffuse the situation, nervously responded, "Don't know really. Chetan, you can answer that one."
All in good fun
Despite the momentary faux outrage, the trio posed for a cheerful photograph afterwards, bidding farewell to their final show of the year. Chetan thanked viewers and wished them a happy new year in a social media post.
