The X-rated moment that left viewers in stitches
BBC Breakfast presenter Naga Munchetty left viewers in shock with a cheeky joke during her guest appearance on the popular comedy quiz show Have I Got News For You.
The host with the most
Munchetty, 48, took the reins as the host for the latest episode, alongside guest panellists Maisie Adam and Richard Osman.
Guess which one doesn't belong
In one round of the show, the teams were shown four pictures and had to identify the odd one out. The images included footballer Mo Salah, an iceberg, a map of Australia, and King Charles' curtains.
Paul Merton's slip-up
Comedian Paul Merton was the first to answer, suggesting that the iceberg had "floated away from all the other ice." He then jokingly asked if it was "five times the size of Britain, or something like that?"
Naga's epic comeback
Munchetty quickly responded with a witty retort, saying, "It's twice the size of Greater London." The audience burst into laughter at Merton's mistake, and Naga seized the opportunity to deliver her punchline, saying, "It's so unlike a man to exaggerate size, isn't it?"
Audience calls for Naga's return
Viewers at home were impressed by Munchetty's hosting skills and flooded social media with praise. Many called for her to become the permanent host of Have I Got News For You, citing her chemistry with the panellists and her quick wit.
"Definitely one of the best #HIGNFY I've seen in a long time. Real chemistry from the panellists and fantastically hosted by Naga," one fan wrote on social media.
Another fan pleaded, "Give Naga the gig permanently please."
A third viewer commented, "Naga Munchetty needs to host Have I Got News For You every week."
And a fourth fan declared, "Naga is a class act, my fave."
