Storm Babet set to cause disruption in the UK
During a recent episode of BBC Breakfast, weather presenter Carol Kirkwood provided an update on the incoming Storm Babet. She warned viewers that the country should brace itself for high winds and heavy rain, particularly in the south west coast and Scotland. The stormy conditions are expected to persist until at least Thursday.
Jon Kay's sarcastic comment
Following Carol's weather update, co-host Jon Kay sarcastically thanked her, saying "thanks for nothing" under his breath. Sally Nugent, another presenter on the show, quickly came to Carol's defense, reminding Jon that it wasn't her fault. Carol took the comment in good humor, and the trio continued the broadcast with smiles on their faces.
