BBC Breakfast’s Sally Nugent looks worlds away from the sofa in see-through beach dress on holiday with Steph McGovern

BBC Breakfast star Sally Nugent looked worlds away from the big red sofa as she enjoyed a luxurious holiday to Marbella with her TV pal, Steph McGovern.

Sally, 51, was likely loving having some down time with her friends in the sunshine following her recent split from husband Gavin.

The breakfast TV star looked chic and glamorous as she donned a stunning white see-through beach dress which featured a number of cut-outs as part of an intricate pattern.

Sally took hold of a cocktail in one of the snaps where the group of pals, who all met whilst working as journalists for the BBC, relaxed at a fancy-looking beach bar with a DJ providing some summer dance tunes.

Giggling away, Sally and Steph, who were joined by broadcast journalist Lizzie Simmons, could not hold back their laughter in one of the pics from their sun-soaked getaway.

Steph, most known for hosting her own Channel 4 series Steph’s Packed Lunch, opted for a blue and white dress which featured a floral pattern throughout.

Lizzie also looked glamorous as she opted for a chainmail dress that would not look out of place in some of Marbella’s top nightclubs.

For one set of photos, Steph captioned the image: “Working lunch…..

“Love this gang. We worked together at the BBC for many years and have stayed firm friends since.”

The friends are thought to have stayed at the uber luxurious Puente Romano hotel where a room can cost upwards of £600 a night.

In another snap, shared by Sally, the ladies all dolled up for an evening out on their getaway.

Sally wowed as she opted for a long black off the shoulder dress as she wrote: “Special people. Special place.”

She also posed by the side of an enormous pool for the trip.

One fan commented on the photos: “How beautiful, hope you all had a fabulous time.”

Another added: “Wonderful Sally, can’t beat special times with dear friends.”

As a third penned: “You girls look incredible.”
