What's Happening?

The BBC has decided to shake up its schedule by pulling The One Show off the air to make way for the star-studded Comic Relief telethon.

About The One Show

The One Show, a regular weeknight TV staple, usually airs on BBC One from 7pm for around half an hour before other big shows like EastEnders. The show features familiar faces like Alex Jones, Clara Amfo, Roman Kemp, Ronan Keating, and Lauren Laverne.

Comic Relief Takeover

On Friday 21st March, The One Show will be replaced by the annual Comic Relief telethon, featuring a lineup of stars like Rylan Clark, Joel Dommett, Alesha Dixon, Jonathan Ross, Alison Hammond, AJ Odudu, Tom Allen, and Davina McCall making her live TV comeback after a brain tumour operation.

Special Moments

The Comic Relief telethon will include special sketches with Traitors star Linda Rands and a challenge with Gethin Jones and Helen Skelton as part of the 2025 Red Nose Day campaign.
