Stars clash on set

A BBC show featuring Mel B, Emily Atack, and Ruby Wax has been cancelled after just one series amid reports of a feud on set. The programme, titled "Trailblazers: A Rocky Mountain Road Trip," followed the trio as they trekked over 800 miles across the Rocky Mountains, mirroring the journey of explorer Isabella Bird in 1873.

On-set tensions

According to sources, the show was not renewed for a second series following an argument between Mel B and Emily Atack during filming. Crew members reportedly witnessed a heated row, leading to irreconcilable differences on set. Despite attempts to patch things up after filming concluded, the natural chemistry between the stars just didn't materialize.

No hope for a returning series

BBC bosses had hoped to create a celebrity gang show similar to other successful formats but the lack of rapport between Mel B and Emily Atack dashed those plans. With high hopes for the show, the inability to generate the desired chemistry between the stars ultimately led to the show's cancellation.

Feud between co-stars

Insiders revealed that Mel B and Emily Atack were at the center of the conflict, with the Spice Girl reportedly falling out with the former Inbetweeners actress during filming. Despite efforts to foster a positive working relationship, the hoped-for natural chemistry between the stars never materialized, leading to the demise of the show.
