The 41-year-old married the advanced nurse practitioner in August 2019, just a few months after meeting her at a Manchester cancer conference in 2019.

Rachael tragically passed away the year before after a two year battle with breast cancer, leaving behind her son Freddie.

The 40-year-old mum died in the early hours of September 5 2018, with her “crushed” close family by her side.

After her tragic death, Steve began hosting the You, Me and the Big C podcast alongside Sun columnist, Deborah James who also sadly passed away from bowel cancer in June this year.

Steve and Amy have shared she is now pregnant with twins who are due to arrive in spring.

Amy posted on social media: “Team VB is getting not one, but two new recruits next year. Twins arriving in spring, all being well.”

Previously, her husband has spoken out about feeling guilty that he found love again after Rachael’s death.

In an interview on Lorraine earlier this year, he said that his late wife wanted him to find happiness again.
