Beat The Chasers’ Paul Sinha stuns Bradley Walsh with jibe about his TV career

BEAT The Chasers star Paul Sinha left host Bradley Walsh stunned as he made a jibe about his TV career.

The quiz legend couldn’t help himself as he put down the actor and commented on the number of pilot TV shows he’s filmed.

Paul’s comment came as aviator Lynn Barton appeared on the ITV show

It came as Lynn from Hampshire appeared on Beat the Chasers and spoke about her career as an aviator.

She told Bradley: “I’m retired now but I was an air pilot. I retired after my last five years as captain on a jumbo.”

Lynn explained how during her time with British Airways, she had a gin cocktail named after her at British Airways.

“Another high point of course, I did feature as a question on The Chase years ago,” she added.

“It was a cash builder where you asked the contestant what Lynn Barton was the first woman on British Airways to do in 1987?

“And of course the answer was to become a female pilot.”

Bradley, 61, looked shocked as he clapped along with the audience and the Chasers.

But as Lynn prepared to face Paul and Anne Hegerty’s replacement Issa Schultz, Paul commented: “Well this is a historic occasion, a record-breaking pilot – and the man who’s recorded more pilots than anyone else in history…”

With Paul, 51, directing his jibe at The Larkins star, Bradley stayed silent and instead took a series of bows to the clapping audience.

Beat The Chasers is a spin-off show of popular ITV show, The Chase.

Hosted by Bradley, viewers get to see contestants and Chasers go head to head.

Unlike The Chase, Beat the Chasers sees contestants take on up to five contestants all at once.

Bradley calls contestants out of the studio audience to compete in Beat the Chasers.

In the Cash Builder round, the contestants will face five multiple-choice questions and have the chance to bank up to £5,000.

But if they get the first question wrong – they’re out.

Beat the Chasers airs all week at 9pm on ITV and ITV Hub.
