Benidorm’s Jodie Dawson is totally unrecognisable six years after starring on ITV show

BENIDORM star Honor Kneafsey looks a world away from her character Jodie Dawson six years after starring on the show.

The actress – who played the much loved-character on the ITV series throughout her childhood – is now working in the film industry.

Jodie was played by child actress Honor Kneafsey

The star now looks all grown up aged 17

Honor, 17, will be most well known to Benidorm fans as the sweet seven-year-old who played young holidaymaker Jodie.

One iconic scene saw the youngster being brutally pushed in the pool by her grandad Dawson, played by Emmerdale’s Bobby Knutt.

The hit comedy series first aired in February 2007 and ran until 2018.

Now, the star is all grown up and looks a world away from the child character – and is working in a number of big-name films.

Honor recently starred in the Netflix movie franchise A Christmas Prince, playing Princess Emily, who is stuck in a wheelchair due to spina bifida.

She is also well known for playing June Mottershed in Our Zoo, as well as smaller roles in Sherlock and How Not To Live Your Life.

The actress also took on the role of a young Barbara Windsor in the life biopic of the EastEnders actress, Babs.

Last year, the teenager was nominated for a Critics’ Choice Awards for her voice acting, after starring as Robyn Goodfellow in Wolfwalkers.

The animated film – made by Oscar nominee Tomm Moore – was also nominated to take home the gong for Best Animated Movie.

Honor keeps her fans updated through her social media accounts – where she is frequently seen posing for glamorous snaps with friends.

Her most recent snap sees her beaming at the camera whilst out for dinner, showing off her locks, which she keeps in their natural curls.

Honor isn’t the only Benidorm star to be totally unrecognisable – as fans have been left shocked seeing Hannah Hobley 15 years on from her role.

Hannah, 33, starred in the show until series three, while her on-screen family remained until series six before taking on recurring roles in series seven.

Hannah has ditched the heavy eyeliner and straight locks that she sported as Chantelle and now embraces a winged eyeline look and curled tresses.

Hannah recently paid tribute to the show to mark its 15th anniversary, posting a picture of the Garvey’s walking through the Spanish resort with a cameraman in front of them.

She wrote alongside it: “Yesterday marked 15 years since the first episode of Benidorm aired… The show that changed my life!”
