‘Besties’ Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield have ‘play date’ ahead of This Morning return

HOLLY Willoughby and Phillip Schofield reunited after almost two months apart following their summer break from This Morning.

While the presenters took their annual break from the ITV show a host of famous faces filled in, including Rochelle Humes, Rylan Clark and Ruth Langsford.

But Holly, 41, and Phil, 60, will be back on our screens from Monday – and he revealed they got together ahead of their return to work.

Sharing a sweet snap of them on Instagram, he wrote: “Now that was fun!! 

“The best day with my bestie





love you to bits @hollywilloughby.

“Let’s see how well I can read an autocue on Monday with a dilated pupil

Holly also shared the photo and added: “Well look who came over for a play date before school starts

This Morning chef Clodagh McKenna was clearly happy to see Holly and Phil back together, and commented: “Miss you both so much!!!!

Baker Juliet Sear, who regularly treats the team to her delicious cakes, added: “See ya soon!! Refreshed after a gorgeous long summer!

Ahead of their break – which also saw Josie Gibson, Craig Doyle and Vernon Kay step in – Phil shared a sweet message to his co-host.

Posting a snap of them on his Instagram story, he wrote: “To the bestest human. Thank you for an amazing series @hollywilloughby.. Happy summer break, see you in September.”

Holly reposted the photo and added: “And you my darling… Love you… See you soon handsome pants!”
