BETTER Call Saul star Paul Geoffrey has died after losing his battle with cancer.

Tributes poured in from fans who mourned the loss of the 68-year-old actor who passed away last week.

According to an obituary published in the Santa Fe New Mexican, the man died on June 3.

The obituary read: “Paul passed away from cancer on June 3 and is survived by his wife Sue Taylor and three children, Alex, Oliver, and Daisy.”

Although Paul was most notably known for featuring alongside Bob in the Breaking Bad prequel Better Call Saul, he also starred in the fantasy film Excalibur.

The flick won best artistic contribution at Cannes in 1981 and received an Oscar nomination for best cinematography.

Paul was born and raised in England but eventually settled in Santa Fe, New Mexico, in the 1990s, the obituary said.

It continued: “This is where he and his wife created a world of love and care for their young family.

“He worked with Santa Fe Properties for many years and established himself as a genuine and kind community member.

“A thespian to the core, Paul continued to act for the remainder of his life.

“He loved French wine and food, had a stunning grasp of history, was a life-long Arsenal fan, and excelled at being the sweetest guy in the world.”

Tributes have poured in since his tragic passing.

“The greatest knight is dead,” a Twitter user said.

“Rest in peace Paul Geoffrey,” one added.

“I loved his character in Excalibur,” a second remarked.

“So sad, condolences to the family,” another said.
