When Betty started trending on Twitter recently, her adoring public rushed to see what had happened only to find an entertaining discussion around the iconic comedic actress’ romance potential with the young Saturday Night Live comedian.
Giddy Betty fans ignored the buzz around Pete dating Kim Kardashian, 41, and instead zeroed in on the potential of Pete and Betty as an item instead.
However, her rep cautioned not so fast with the “Betty and Pete dating” rumor mill.
The iconic star’s publicist exclusively told The Celeb Report that “Betty keeps her dating life private.”
While we may never know if sparks would fly between the comedic powerhouses- Betty is looking ahead for her upcoming birthday.
And as far as plans for her big centennial birthday, her rep added what while there is “No word yet on her 100, but knowing BETTY she will be focusing on 101.”
The publicist for the Golden Girls alum added that “Betty is always thinking forward and positive.”
Betty first started trending on Twitter last week, with fans rushing to the platform to see if anything had occurred.
One fan wrote in response to the commotion: “Betty White is trending again and PLEASE STOP THIS, every time her name pops up I get so worried that she’s dating Pete Davidson.”
Another humorously remarked: “The masculine urge to date Betty White before Pete Davidson does.”

The trending Twitter joke stems from when Pete was spotted on several dates with Kim, from holding hands on a roller coaster over Halloween at Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park, CA to dinner dates in Staten Island.
The unexpected celebrity couple started dating rumor sparks after appearing together in a sexual Aladdin-themed SNL skit where Kim kissed Pete as she hosted the show.
Pete recently broke his silence regarding his newfound romance with Kim in an interview on Late Night with Seth Meyers.
Seth immediately put Pete in the hot seat and stated: “I want to address something.
“I feel like I want to confirm if it’s real or a rumor.”
He continued, alluding to Pete’s new love interest: “You’ve been reading a lot about it in the press.”
The King of Staten Island replied: “Yeah, you know, I’ve been wanting to talk about this because there’s a lot of people I walk by, people are whispering and you know making eyes at me.”
Pete exclaimed: “And you know, but it is true!”
He then comedically added: “I do have a show on Tubi coming out.”
The crowd erupted in laughter as Seth confirmed: “THE Tubi?”

Despite the kindling romance, Kim has been warned by close friends to “take it slow” with Pete after he’s gained a “heartbreaker” reputation.

She’s also been making friends with a couple of ducks in her “beautiful backyard” that like to “waddle up to her glass door…and say hello.”

The beloved American star also disclosed to People that she tries her best to keep things fun and light-hearted.
She explained to the outlet: ”I don’t like the other side. The positive side is a lot more fun.”
The legend believes age is nothing but a number for her as she continues to feel good and in high spirits.
Last year ahead of her 99th birthday, Betty shared: “I am blessed with good health, so turning 99 is no different than turning 98.”
The Oak Park, Illinois native said that “a sense of humor” helps to keep her feeling young and energized.
She added: “Don’t take yourself too seriously. You can lie to others — not that I would — but you cannot lie to yourself.”
She doubled-down on those tips for a good life when asked for some more advice.
The Hot in Cleveland alum said: “Just looking at the positive side and not dwelling on the downside.
“Takes up too much energy being negative. Also having a good agent who keeps me busy all the time.”
