BGT’s Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden will move viewers to tears with emotional singing performances in Christmas special

BRITAIN’S Got Talent viewers will be moved to tears on Christmas Day with emotional singing performances from Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden.

Ahead of the first ever Christmas special, the judges have teased what to expect as the acts collaborate and perform together for the ultimate extravaganza.

Britain’s Got Talent will air on Christmas Day

Amanda said: “Well, it’s the perfect present, isn’t it, for everybody?

“After this year, I think BGT on Christmas Day for the first time-ever will be a real tonic for everyone.

“This show has got everything. It makes you cry. It makes you howl with laughter. It makes you reflect.

“I just kept sitting there thinking how proud I am that I’ve been part of every single one of these  acts’ moment on stage.

“Right from the beginning, it was like my life flashing before me. It’s an honour to be part of Christmas telly, because it’s an iconic day to be on.”

After performing on the BGT stage for the first time this year, multi talented Amanda Holden will take to the stage once again, this time with  2014 winners Collabro to sing her fantastic Christmas single ‘Home For  Christmas’.

Ashley Banjo said: “Alesha did something a little bit different, really stripped back, beautiful Christmas ballad, perfect for Christmas Day.

“And so did Amanda actually, she did a really big  emotional number, she was in her comfort zone and it was really nice to see her do what she does.”

Judge David Walliams added: “I’m comparing some of the best comedy acts we’ve ever had on Britain’s  Got Talent together, in one festive performance. It was really fun to do and I got to  choose some of the incredible comic talent we’ve had on the show.

“It is silly, we’ve got Francine Lewis, Steve Royle, Daliso, who was brilliant, from a few seasons ago,  Robert White and Lost Voice Guy.

“My face always lights up when a comedian walks  onto the stage on Britain’s Got Talent. Despite what Simon says, because he seems to think I hate other comedians.

“But I don’t, I actually really like to be entertained by  funny people. So, I was delighted that I got to do this on the Christmas special.

“And in a way it wasn’t too bad, because I was comparing, whereas the two girls actually  sing live on the show and that’s actually pretty brave. “
