Cracks in Big Brother Unity?

Big Brother fans are claiming to have spotted a secret feud among the housemates, which was not aired on TV. As part of the first shopping task, the contestants have been divided into a three-tier hierarchy to compete for a luxury shopping budget.

Three Tiers of Hierarchy

The top tier consists of Big Bros LTD bosses Yinrun, Trish, and Henry. The middle tier includes Kerry, Paul, Matty, Zak, and Jordan, while the bottom tier encompasses Jenkin, Dylan, Chanelle, Noky, Farida, Olivia, Tom, and Hallie.

Factions and Cliques

Viewers believe that the contestants are forming themselves into cliques within the hierarchy, with the middle and bottom tiers fracturing into groups. Some housemates, such as Tom, Zak, and Hallie, have expressed their desire not to be split up, indicating their preference not to be with the others in their challenge classes.

Unequal Privileges

The current structure allows the big wigs to communicate with the middle tier but not the bottom tier. Additionally, they enjoy added privileges, such as being able to keep their duvets while the bottom tier is left with thin blankets.

Inspired by George Orwell's 1984

In line with the show's theme, the challenge is inspired by George Orwell's dystopian novel 1984. However, it seems that the majority of the contestants are not familiar with the book.

Cracks Start Showing

The drama began to unfold shortly after the show's launch on Sunday. Just 24 hours in, the cracks in housemate unity became apparent. Farida expressed in the diary room that she hasn't connected with a few people, specifically mentioning Trish and Henry and their own little clique. She also mentioned her liking for Jordan but lamented not getting to spend much time with him due to the cliques.

During an earlier episode, Jordan and Henry seemed reluctant to mix with the other contestants. They hid upstairs and expressed their hesitations about sitting together for a family meal and using the others' cutlery. They even contemplated staying upstairs all day to see if anyone would notice.
